Flora Devnet is live: Earn XP and unlock roles

This marks the beginning of our journey together and the first public phase of our network. We're opening the doors to a simple, interactive environment where you can test, explore, and become a foundational member helping us shape what comes next.

To make this possible, we built Sprout, an AI-powered Discord bot designed to be your entry point and guide into the Flora ecosystem.

With Sprout, you can connect a wallet, claim Devnet tokens (dFLORA), and interact with live features using familiar slash commands. You can also lean on it for AI-powered help, whether that’s drafting Tweets or answering questions about Flora. Every interaction helps you build your reputation, earn XP, and unlock new roles, bringing you closer to future releases like our upcoming Flora AI Studio.

What you can do on Devnet today

To get started with Flora Devnet, head over to our Discord to connect your wallet with Sprout. From there, claim free dFLORA from the faucet, and unlock roles by earning XP as you complete quests and play with Sprout.

Sprout provides a lightweight playground for exploring Flora’s basics while we collect your feedback and prepare for more advanced features.

Getting started

1. Join the Flora Discord
2. Run /connect-wallet in any channel. Sprout will send you a private link to connect either Keplr or MetaMask. Completing this step gives you your first XP and the 🌱 Seedling role.
3. Use /flora-faucet in the #sprout-playground channel once every 24 hours to claim free test dFLORA.

The first milestone on your journey with Flora Devnet is achieving the 🌱 Seedling role, unlocked when you connect your wallet. From there, new roles open up as you earn more XP, complete quests, and spend time with Sprout.

While Sprout provides a simple entry point, the Flora Devnet is also an open environment for those who want to dive deeper into the network's foundation. If you're a developer, validator, or technically curious community member, we invite you to:

• Operate a node: Help build network resilience and decentralization. Ensure transactions are being properly received and validated.
• Become a Validator: Test the security, governance, and consensus mechanism of the Flora Network firsthand.
• Test EVM smart contracts: Deploy and interact with your own smart contracts on the Devnet to explore the possibilities.

What’s next

Devnet is only the starting point. As Flora grows, Sprout will evolve from basic commands into richer tools that bring AI, coordination, and creation together. Each step forward will open new ways to participate and make your involvement count.
