Since launching Sprout, the community’s been active — testing commands, unlocking roles, and sharing ideas that give a glimpse of where Flora’s headed.
Now we’re turning that momentum into something more focused: the Sprout Idea Lab Challenge.
The Idea Lab Challenge invites you to imagine the apps, sites, and components that could one day take shape in the upcoming Flora AI Studio — a place to build and remix with AI.
Starting Monday at 17:00 UTC and running until Thursday at 05:00 UTC, we’re kicking off the first Sprout Idea Lab Challenge — an open call for ideas that explore how AI and onchain systems can reward participation and collaboration.
This week’s theme: SocialFi & reward systems
SocialFi combines social interaction with onchain value. It’s the idea that your contributions, participation, or collaboration online can actually earn something measurable (not just likes or followers).
This challenge is about exploring reward systems that make that possible — where contribution and creativity hold real weight.
Examples
/idea an app that rewards users for helping others complete quests
/idea a widget that tracks and grows your reputation as you contribute
/idea a component that automatically splits rewards between collaborators
These are just simple starters. Take yours further—describe what it does, how it works, or who it’s for. The more context you give Sprout, the better your output will be.
Prizes
- 1st Place: 500 dFLORA (≈25 days of faucet)
- 2nd Place: 250 dFLORA (≈12.5 days of faucet)
- 3rd Place: 100 dFLORA (≈5 days of faucet)
How to participate
To enter, you’ll need the 🌹 Bud role (or higher) — unlocked at 300 XP through Sprout commands and activity in Discord.
- Go to #🔬┃idea-lab in the Flora Discord.
- Use the /idea command to submit your concept.
- Submissions are open from Monday 17:00 UTC → Thursday 05:00 UTC.
You’ll earn XP for each submission (up to your cap), but winners will be chosen purely on originality, usefulness, and clarity.
