Sprout Idea Lab: December Rush (4-Week Challenge Series)

The Sprout Idea Lab has become one of the most active parts of our community. Every week, people in the Flora Discord share focused, practical ideas that feel like they could live inside the Flora ecosystem — small tools, simple components, and everyday utilities.

For December, we’re building on that momentum with December Rush, a four-week sequence of Idea Lab challenges, each with its own theme, winners, and prizes.

The goal is to end the year with a steady flow of ideas and give our community clear, structured prompts that help shape what eventually becomes possible in the Flora AI Studio.

This blog outlines the full schedule, themes, and participation details for the month.

Note: All prompts, submissions, and winner announcements will take place directly inside the Flora Discord.

How December Rush works

December Rush is a four-week sequence of Sprout Idea Lab challenges, each with its own theme and its own set of winners. Everything happens inside the Flora Discord, and each week runs on a clear rhythm so people can jump in whenever they want.

Each week we’ll:

  • Announce a new theme
  • Review every entry one by one
  • Select weekly winners
  • Award dFLORA

Weekly Prizes (per challenge)

December Rush comes with boosted prizes all month — rewards are doubled across every challenge.

  • 1st place: 1,000 dFLORA (≈ 50 days of faucet)
  • 2nd place: 500 dFLORA (≈ 25 days of faucet)
  • 3rd place: 200 dFLORA (≈ 10 days of faucet)

We’re looking for ideas that are clear, thoughtful, buildable, and genuinely aligned with the week’s theme. You don’t need to be technical.
